Funkdoobiest è un gruppo di hip hop latino originario di Los Angeles, California. I membri originali sono Son Doobie (Jason Vasquez), rapper portoricano, DJ Ralph M (Ralph Medrano), DJ chicano, e Tomahawk Funk (Tyrone Pacheco) della nazione Lakota. Quest'ultimo ha lasciato il gruppo dopo il secondo album. I loro primi due album sono stati principalmente prodotti da DJ Muggs dei Cypress Hill. Il loro terzo e finora ultimo album, 'The Troubleshooters', include la produzione di Ralph M e DJ Rectangle. Mentre gli altri album erano chiaramente rap hardcore nel vein dei Cypress Hill e degli altri membri di Soul Assassins, 'The Troubleshooters' era più versatile.
