Nelly, pseudonimo di Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., è un rapper, cantante, attore e imprenditore statunitense nato a Austin, Texas, nel 1974. Considerato uno dei maggiori esponenti del rap degli anni 2000, Nelly ha venduto oltre ventuno milioni di album negli Stati Uniti, ottenendo riconoscimenti come tre Grammy Awards, nove Billboard Music Awards, quattro American Music Awards e un MTV Video Music Award. Il suo stile musicale fonde elementi di hip hop, R and B e pop, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi che parlano di vita quotidiana, amore e successo.
