(spoken)
Erykah: Hello.
Muppets: Hi.
Erykah: My name is Erykah Badu.
(NOTE: I don't know the song he's referring to here, sorry if I mess it up!)
Elmo: Oh, the "a-jiggy, jiggy, yee-yo-yee-yo, what ya gonna do", Erykah Badu?
Erykah: That's me. Hey, come on over, let's be friends.
Muppets: Well ... hmmm ....
Rosita: Did she say, "friends"?
Zoe: Yeah, yeah, I think that's what she said, "friends".
Baby Bear: But .. ummmm ... we've never been friends with anyone who ... ahhh ... well, who wears what you're wearing on your head!
Erykah: Well, I've never been friends with three furry monsters or a brown baby bear, either.
(voices of concern about this, they have to brainstorm)
Baby Bear: Okay, huddle up, here we go! (the muppets huddle together) What do ya think?
(various voices: "She said, "friends" and .... she's pretty.")
(they come out of the huddle)
Baby Bear: Alright, so, are you trying to say that you don't want to be friends with three furry monsters and a brown baby bear?!
Erykah: Awww ... no, that's not what I'm trying to say. (music starts)
(sung)
Doesn't matter what you wear
Or what's in your hair
If you're three furry monsters
Or a brown baby bear
We're all friends
(spoken in foreground)
Rosita (to Zoe): Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Zoe (to Rosita): Yeah, let's go! (they run off)
Not being blinded by a color
Accepting one another
Like different letters in the alphabet need each other
We all need friends
(Rosita and Zoe return wearing headwraps like Erykah's)
Rosita and Zoe: Friendship
Talking 'bout friendship
Ooooo - eeeee - doooo - eeeee
Friendship
Talking 'bout friendship
Loooo - laaaa - looooo
Erykah: Now, reaching for a little star
It's pretty far
Come closer to the earth where your buddies are
To look for a friend
Muppets: Friendship
Talking 'bout friendship
Ooooo - eeeee - doooo - eeeee
Friendship
Talking 'bout friendship
Loooo - laaaa - looooo
Erykah: Friendship
Talking 'bout friendship
Ooooo - eeeee - doooo - eeeee
Friendship
Talking 'bout friendship
Loooo - laaaa - looooo

(spoken)
Erykah: So, we're friends?
(voices of agreement all 'round)
Zoe: Oh, yeah, thanks for the head-wrap!
Erykah: I love your head-wrap.
