Footloose è un gruppo musicale acustico di musica celtica con sede a Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Il gruppo si distingue per l'utilizzo di strumenti tradizionali irlandesi e scozzesi, come fiddle, bodhrán, flauto e chitarra acustica, creando un suono ricco e coinvolgente che fonde melodie tradizionali con arrangiamenti originali. Footloose è attivo dal 2000 e ha pubblicato diversi album, tra cui "Footloose" (2003) e "Celtic Fire" (2006). Il gruppo si esibisce regolarmente in festival e locali di musica folk negli Stati Uniti, conquistando il pubblico con la sua energia contagiosa e la maestria musicale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Footloose ricordiamo "The Wild Rover", "Whiskey in the Jar" e "Irish Washerwoman".
