Kurupt, pseudonimo di Ricardo Emmanuel Brown, è un rapper e produttore discografico statunitense nato a Long Beach, California, nel 1973. Attivo dal tardo anni '90, Kurupt ha raggiunto la notorietà come membro del gruppo hip hop Tha Dogg Pound, noto per il suo stile G-funk influenzato da Dr. Dre. Dopo aver collaborato con Snoop Dogg e altri artisti di Death Row Records, Kurupt ha intrapreso una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando album come "Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha" (1998) e "Space Boogie: Smoke Oddessey" (2000). Il suo stile rap è caratterizzato da rime intricate, testi realistici e un flow aggressivo. Tra i suoi brani più noti figurano "C-Walk", "Untouchable" e "California Love" (con 2Pac).
