Sesame Street è una serie televisiva educativa per bambini americana, pioniera del moderno standard televisivo educativo. Combina educazione e intrattenimento, ed è famosa per i suoi personaggi Muppets creati da Jim Henson. In onda dal 10 novembre 1969, è il programma per bambini più longevo della televisione. La serie è prodotta negli Stati Uniti dall'organizzazione no-profit Sesame Workshop (precedentemente Children's Television Workshop, CTW), fondata da Joan Ganz Cooney e Ralph Rogers.
