Scribe è un rapper neozelandese di origini maori, attivo dal 2001. Noto per il suo stile introspettivo e le rime intricate, Scribe ha guadagnato popolarità con l'album di debutto *Rhyme Book* (2003), che include i successi *Say It Again* e *The Crusader*. Il suo album successivo, *Scrapbook of Contemplation*, ha consolidato il suo status di artista underground rispettato. Scribe è considerato uno dei rapper più influenti della Nuova Zelanda, noto per la sua abilità tecnica e le tematiche sociali affrontate nelle sue canzoni. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano anche *Brainstorming* e *Stand Up*.
