Xero è un gruppo musicale formatosi negli anni '90. Nonostante la scarsa documentazione disponibile, si sa che il loro genere musicale era influenzato dal rock alternativo e dalla musica elettronica. Il loro album di debutto, intitolato semplicemente "Xero", uscì nel 1997 e conteneva brani come "Lost in the Static" e "Digital Dream". Nonostante un discreto successo underground, Xero non riuscì a raggiungere la popolarità mainstream. La band si sciolse all'inizio degli anni 2000.
Nella terza edizione di "Nuova Scena", talent dedicato al mondo rap in onda su Netflix, si sono aggiudicati la vittoria i cosentini Flextony e Tigerplug.
