Hank Snow (Clarence Eugene Snow), nato a Nova Scotia, Canada, nel 1914, è stato uno dei pilastri della musica country americana. La sua carriera, iniziata negli anni '30, ha attraversato mezzo secolo di successi e influenze. Snow fu un interprete di grande talento, capace di regalare al pubblico canzoni memorabili come "I'm Movin' On", "The Golden Rocket" e "Hello, I'm Hank Snow". La sua musica, caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili e testi che raccontavano storie di vita quotidiana, ha conquistato un vasto pubblico. Hank Snow è stato uno dei primi artisti country a raggiungere il successo nazionale negli Stati Uniti, aprendo la strada ad altri musicisti del genere. Nel 1959, ricevette una stella sulla Hollywood Walk of Fame in riconoscimento del suo contributo alla musica americana. La sua eredità continua ad ispirare generazioni di musicisti country.
