Gang Starr è un gruppo hip hop formatosi a New York nel 1987 da Guru (Keith Edward Elam) e DJ Premier (Edward Barnes). Dopo alcune uscite iniziali con altri membri, il duo si è affermato come una delle più influenti realtà del panorama newyorkese.
