Attivo dal 1989 ad oggi, si distingue per il suo stile alternativo all'interno dell'hip hop, caratterizzato da testi poetici e sperimentali, spesso con influenze jazz e funk. Tra i suoi album più importanti figurano "Deltron 3030" (2000), un progetto collaborativo con Dan the Automator e Kid Koala, e "Both Sides of the Brain" (1999).
