When I'm feelin' low I don't show 'em
If I ain't seen 'em in 10 then I don't know 'em
This my life, this is no poem
It's no discussion, I owe no one
Nothing bleedin' over from when I was broken, wasn't fixed
When I was payin' engineers to over-mix
Just wanted to stay in the studio with older kids (You know?)
Be a soldier, get a task and then attack it
And then I start to pass it and sit with rappers in my bracket
I admit I wasn't first in line
I took it slow and did my best through the worst of times
I don't waste words so the verse will rhyme
I up myself and go to pray, that's why the church designed
Amen, gangsters don't dance, all they do is this
Blueberry yum yum in Amsterdam like Ludacris
I'm the type to smoke, not the type to drink
Took the day to write and use the night to think
(All of that said)
Turn the system up, I'm all in the red
Maybe everything is all in my head
All of that said
Three hours behind on a whole 'nother type a time
Where we at?
Let's get it, uh
Vision impaired from the shit that I gritted and bared
Toting them infrared blicks wit' the kicks and the snares
That I clenched for the stares, I don't flinch or get scared
When it's a hit, I'm prepared, catch a glimpse from the feds
Hair trigger on my strig, pull it like a string
Got all drugs in every colors for the hypes and fiends
I dare a nigga on my son to try to 'nipe the king
I bet he wake up in the scope of a sniper's dream
I roll the dope up by the beam, mix the sprite with lean
They had to steam clean the kit for my ice to bling
Go home with them scony scams, we'll fry the scene (Cha-ching)
Not so quick to plot and plan, I'm the type to scheme
For the love of the riches and diamond rings (Uh-huh)
They all big I's and little U's, it ain't no I in team (No I in team)
My Chinatown connect, he went up on the price of tea (China)
His nose was somethin' like the slate, I had to wipe it clean
What else?
All of that said
Let me hear it back, yo
All of that said
All of that said
All of that said
Run that back
The, the, the noise is, is scaring me
That's the storms, I gotta run—
