Saviour Machine è stato un gruppo musicale statunitense attivo dal 1989 al 2003. Fondato dai fratelli Eric e Jeff Clayton nella California meridionale, il gruppo si è distinto per uno stile originale che fonde symphonic metal con elementi di gothic metal, sempre intriso di una forte componente cristiana. Le loro sonorità, caratterizzate da melodie elaborate, riff pesanti e testi spirituali, hanno conquistato un seguito fedele nel panorama musicale underground. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Great Divide", "Blood and Fire" e "Arise". L'album di debutto, "The Age of Reason", pubblicato nel 1992, ha segnato l'inizio della loro carriera, seguita da altri lavori come "The Second Coming" (1994) e "The Final Hour" (1997). Saviour Machine si è sciolto nel 2003 dopo un periodo di attività intensa e una crescente difficoltà a conciliare la vita musicale con le proprie convinzioni religiose.

Il potere dei video brevi: 15 secondi che cambiano tutto TikTok ha trasformato le regole del gioco musicale. Una melodia che dura meno di venti secondi può diventare il suono di un'intera estate. Nel 2023, oltre il 70% delle canzoni entrate nella Billboard Hot 100 aveva avuto un'origine virale su piattaforme social prima di ricevere attenzione radiofonica.
Il 28 aprile 1986 la cantante Graziella Franchini, in arte Lolita, veniva ritrovata esanime e sfigurata nella camera del residence di Lamezia Terme in cui viveva ormai da un pò di tempo. L'omicidio è rimasto privo di colpevoli.
