Accept è una band heavy metal tedesca proveniente da Solingen, originariamente formata all'inizio degli anni '70 dal cantante Udo Dirkschneider. Hanno svolto un ruolo importante nello sviluppo del speed metal e del thrash metal teutonico, facendo parte della scena heavy/speed/power metal tedesca emersa nei primi anni '80. L'album del 1983 *Balls to the Wall* è diventato il loro successo più grande, con l'omonimo singolo che ha raggiunto un'ampia popolarità. Dopo lo scioglimento nel 1997 e una breve resurrezione nel 2005, si sono riuniti nel 2009 con Mark Tornillo, ex frontman di T.T. Quick, al posto di Dirkschneider.
