Tindersticks sono un gruppo rock proveniente da Nottingham, Inghilterra. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da arrangiamenti orchestrali, lounge jazz e soul; le orchestrationi del multi-musicista Dickon Hinchliffe (uscito dal gruppo nel 2006) e il baritono del cantante principale Stuart A. Staples sono i tratti distintivi della band. I Tindersticks arricchiscono la loro musica con strumenti come pianoforte Rhodes, glockenspiel, vibrafono, violino, tromba, trombone, clarinetto, fagotto, organo Hammond e molti altri. Il gruppo ha pubblicato undici album in studio tra il 1995 e il 2023, ottenendo un seguito di critica e pubblico per la loro atmosfera evocativa e le melodie malinconiche. Alcuni dei brani più rappresentativi includono 'Curtains', 'The Last Post' e 'City of Ghosts'.
