Machine Head è una band statunitense di heavy metal originaria di Oakland, California. Formatasi nel 1989, il gruppo ha raggiunto la fama internazionale con l'album di debutto "Burn My Eyes" (1994), considerato un classico del thrash metal degli anni '90. Il sound della band è caratterizzato da riff pesanti, melodie accattivanti e testi introspettivi che affrontano temi come la rabbia, la frustrazione e la disillusione sociale. 1997 ha visto l'uscita di "The More Things Change", un album che ha segnato una svolta verso sonorità più aggressive e sperimentali, con influenze del nu metal. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Machine Head figurano «Davidian», «Imperium», «Halo» e «Bloodshed».
Il comparto sonoro è uno degli elementi più importanti ma meno notati nel mondo del videogioco. Una colonna sonora azzeccata trasforma un'azione semplice in un momento indimenticabile, guida la concentrazione e crea un legame emotivo con lo schermo.
