Das EFX è un gruppo hip hop americano formato dagli MC Skoob (conosciuto anche come Books, nato William "Willie" Hines il 27 novembre 1970) e Dre (conosciuto anche come Krazy Drayzy, nato Andre Weston il 9 settembre 1970). Il duo ha raggiunto la popolarità all'inizio degli anni '90 grazie alla sua affiliazione con l'etichetta Hit Squad di EPMD e al loro stile di rap a flusso di coscienza, che è diventato uno dei più influenti nella musica hip hop durante gli anni '90. Il loro stile combinava frasi senza senso con un ritmo veloce influenzato dal ragga (che includeva parole che finivano con "iggedy") e numerosi riferimenti alla cultura pop. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: *Real Niggaz*, *They Want War* e *Drop It Like It's Hot*.
