I Black Eyed Peas (BEP) sono un gruppo hip hop statunitense formatosi nel 1995 a Los Angeles, California. Il gruppo originale era composto da apl.de.ap, will.i.am e taboo, insieme alla cantante Kim Hill. Il loro album di debutto, *Behind the Front* (1998), ricevette recensioni positive ma non ottenne un grande successo commerciale. Nel 2000 uscì il secondo album, *Bridging The Gap*, con collaborazioni di artisti come Chali 2na dei Jurassic 5, De La Soul e Macy Gray. Nel 2003, Kim Hill fu sostituita da Fergie e l'album *Elephunk* segnò una svolta per la band. Singoli come *Where Is the Love?*, *Shut Up*, *Hey Mama* e *Let's Get It Started* divennero successi internazionali, consacrando i Black Eyed Peas tra i gruppi musicali più popolari del mondo. Nel 2005 uscì *Monkey Business*, il secondo album con Fergie, che consolidò il successo della band. Tra gli altri album di spicco ricordiamo *The E.N.D.* (2009) e *The Beginning* (2010). I Black Eyed Peas hanno vinto numerosi premi Grammy e sono considerati uno dei gruppi hip hop più influenti degli ultimi decenni.
