Genesis è stato un gruppo musicale britannico, attivo dal 1967 al 2007. Originariamente un gruppo progressive rock, hanno esplorato diversi generi musicali nel corso della loro carriera, includendo il pop rock, l'art rock e la musica classica. Formati da Peter Gabriel (voce, flauto), Tony Banks (tastiere, cori), Mike Rutherford (basso, chitarra), Phil Collins (batteria, voce) e Steve Hackett (chitarra), Genesis ha raggiunto un successo globale con album come *Selling England by the Pound* (1973), *The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway* (1974) e *Invisible Touch* (1986).
