Korn è un gruppo musicale nu metal statunitense formatosi a Bakersfield, California, nel 1993. Considerati pionieri del genere nu metal, hanno influenzato profondamente la scena musicale degli anni '90 e 2000. Il loro sound caratteristico combina elementi di heavy metal, funk, hip hop e industrial, con testi spesso introspettivi e oscuri che esplorano temi come dolore, depressione e alienazione sociale. La formazione originale includeva Jonathan Davis (voce), James "Munky" Shaffer (chitarra), Brian "Head" Welch (chitarra), Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (basso) e David Silveria (batteria). Dopo il successo del loro album di debutto omonimo nel 1994, Korn ha pubblicato una serie di album di grande successo, tra cui *Life is Peachy* (1996), *Follow the Leader* (1998) e *Issues* (1999). Nel corso della loro carriera, hanno venduto oltre 40 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo. Nel 2005, Silveria ha lasciato la band per motivi personali, sostituito da Ray Luzier.
