El-P, abbreviazione di Lyrical Punisher, è il nome d'arte di Jaime Meline, un artista musicale statunitense nato nel 1970. Attivo dal 1996, El-P è noto per la sua abilità come beatmaker, polistrumentista, rapper e produttore discografico. Il suo stile musicale si caratterizza per l'uso di suoni sperimentali, campionamenti creativi e testi introspettivi che affrontano temi sociali e politici. 1997 ha visto la nascita del gruppo Run the Jewels con Killer Mike, un duo che ha raggiunto grande successo con album come "Run the Jewels" (2013) e "Run the Jewels 2" (2014). Tra i suoi lavori più importanti figurano anche l'album solista "Fantastic Damage" (2002) e il progetto collaborativo con Doseone, "The Weather Underground" (2007).
