Immortal Technique, pseudonimo di Felipe Coronel, è un rapper e attivista peruviano naturalizzato statunitense. Nato a New York nel 1979 da genitori peruviani, si è trasferito in diverse città degli Stati Uniti durante l'infanzia. La sua musica è caratterizzata da testi politici e sociali che affrontano temi come la guerra, il razzismo, la povertà e l'oppressione. Influenzato da artisti come Public Enemy e Tupac Shakur, Immortal Technique ha sviluppato uno stile rap crudo e incisivo, spesso accompagnato da beat oscuri e atmosferici. Il suo debutto discografico è stato l'album "Revolutionary Vol. 1" (2001), seguito da altri lavori di successo come "The 3rd World" (2003) e "Welcome to America" (2009).
