A Wilhelm Scream (AWS o semplicemente Wilhelm o lo Scream) è una band di melodic hardcore proveniente da New Bedford, Massachusetts. Spesso vengono paragonati a band come Strung Out, Hot Water Music, Propagandhi e Strike Anywhere. Il nome della band fa riferimento allo "Wilhelm scream", un famoso effetto sonoro utilizzato in molti film. Prima di adottare il nome attuale, la band era conosciuta come Smackin' Isaiah, Koen e Adam's Crack, ma solo il primo nome è stato utilizzato in un'uscita importante. Il cambio di nome da Koen a Smackin' Isaiah ad A Wilhelm Scream è stato dovuto all'aggiunta di nuovi membri e alla maturazione del gruppo.
