Wyclef Jean, nato nel 1969 ad Haiti, è un rapper, cantante, produttore discografico e attivista politico di fama internazionale. Noto per il suo stile musicale che fonde hip hop, reggae, funk e musica haitiana tradizionale, Wyclef ha raggiunto la notorietà come membro del gruppo Fugees negli anni '90.
