Absu è una band di black metal proveniente da Plano, Texas, Stati Uniti. I loro primi lavori si avvicinavano ad un sound death metal, ma più recentemente hanno incorporato sonorità black e thrash metal con influenze celtiche e folk (che definiscono come "Mythological Occult Metal").
