Considerato uno dei maggiori esponenti del rap degli anni 2000, Nelly ha venduto oltre ventuno milioni di album negli Stati Uniti, ottenendo riconoscimenti come tre Grammy Awards, nove Billboard Music Awards, quattro American Music Awards e un MTV Video Music Award.
