Deathspell Omega è una band francese di black metal attiva dal 2001. La loro musica è caratterizzata da un suono crudo e aggressivo, con influenze provenienti dal thrash metal e dall'avant-garde. I testi, in inglese, esplorano temi satanici su un piano metafisico, filosofia esistenziale e teologia, spesso ispirati al pensiero di Georges Bataille. La band ha pubblicato tre album concept che affrontano le diverse facce del divino, del male e della condizione umana: *Siphon*, *The Pagan Gallery* e *Drought*. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare 'Awaiting the End', 'The Serpent's Tongue' e 'The Devil's Advocate'.
