Herman Dune è un duo francese formatosi nel 1999. Originariamente un trio, la formazione attuale comprende David-Ivar Herman Dune (chitarre e voce) e Neman Herman Dune (batteria e occasionalmente cori). Neman, originario della Svizzera, ha sostituito il batterista Ome all'inizio del 2001. Il 13 dicembre 2006, Andre Herman Dune ha suonato l'ultimo concerto con la band e successivamente ha cambiato nome in Stanley Brinks. Con l'uscita di Andre, è stato eliminato l'umlaut dal nome. La band è spesso accompagnata da altri musicisti durante le esibizioni live. Il loro sound si colloca nell'ambito del folk rock, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano «The Sun Is Shining», «I Don't Know What to Do» e «You Are My Love».
