Busta Rhymes, pseudonimo di Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., è un rapper, produttore discografico e attore statunitense nato a Long Island, New York, nel 1972. Considerato uno dei pionieri del rap hardcore degli anni '90, Busta Rhymes si distingue per il suo flow frenetico, le rime complesse e la presenza scenica energica. Iniziò la sua carriera come membro del gruppo Leaders of the New School, collaborando con artisti come A Tribe Called Quest e De La Soul. Nel 1996 debuttò da solista con l'album "The Coming", seguito da successi come "When Disaster Strikes" (1997) e "E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S." (2000). Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See", "Scenario" e "What's It Gonna Be?!".
