40 Below Summer sono stati un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi nel New Jersey nel 1998. La band, nota per il suo sound alternativo caratterizzato da sonorità indie rock con influenze di rap e jazz, ha pubblicato quattro album in studio e due EP prima dello scioglimento avvenuto nel 2005. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Way You Move", "I'm Not Afraid" e "She's Got a Hold on Me". L'album di debutto, "40 Below Summer", risale al 2001 ed è stato seguito da "The Last Time I Saw the Sun" nel 2003. La band ha collaborato con artisti come The Used e Yellowcard.
