Anthrax è una band statunitense di thrash metal, considerata uno dei pilastri del genere insieme a Metallica, Slayer e Megadeth. Fondata nel 1981 a New York, la band ha raggiunto un successo internazionale vendendo oltre 10 milioni di album in tutto il mondo. Il loro sound si caratterizza per l'energia frenetica, le riff veloci e le melodie accattivanti, spesso con influenze punk e hardcore.
