Attivo dal 2000 circa, il gruppo ha pubblicato diversi album tra cui "United We Fall", "Natural Progression", "Water Street", "Sweatshop Union" e "Local 604". Nonostante la loro musica sia stata apprezzata da un pubblico di nicchia, Sweatshop Union rimane un'entità relativamente misteriosa.
