Procol Harum è un gruppo britannico di art rock, attivo dal 1967 al 1970 e poi sporadicamente fino ai giorni nostri. Considerati uno dei primi esponenti dell'art rock, hanno influenzato profondamente il panorama musicale degli anni '60 e '70. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da un mix di elementi classici, psichedelici e progressivi, con una forte attenzione all'arrangiamento orchestrale. Il gruppo è guidato dalla voce solista Gary Brooker, noto per la sua potente interpretazione e il suo stile vocale unico. Tra i brani più celebri di Procol Harum si ricordano "A Whiter Shade of Pale", "Conquistador" e "Simple Sister". L'album di debutto del gruppo, "Procol Harum", pubblicato nel 1967, è considerato un classico dell'art rock.
