Wyclef Jean, nato nel 1969 ad Haiti, è un rapper, cantante, produttore discografico e attivista politico di fama internazionale. Noto per il suo stile musicale che fonde hip hop, reggae, funk e musica haitiana tradizionale, Wyclef ha raggiunto la notorietà come membro del gruppo Fugees negli anni '90. Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo, ha avviato una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando album come "The Carnival" (2000) e "Masquerade" (2004), che hanno riscosso grande apprezzamento sia critica che commerciale.
