Tupac Amaru Shakur, meglio conosciuto come 2Pac o Makaveli, è stato un rapper, attivista e attore statunitense nato a New York nel 1971. Considerato uno dei più grandi esponenti della musica rap, ha lasciato un'impronta indelebile sulla cultura popolare con le sue rime incisive e il suo impegno sociale. La sua vita fu segnata da controversie e difficoltà, culminando tragicamente nella sua morte a soli 25 anni nel 1996. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "Dear Mama", "Changes" e "California Love". L'album "Me Against the World" (1995) è considerato un capolavoro del rap, mentre "All Eyez on Me" (1996), pubblicato postumo, divenne uno dei dischi più venduti di sempre. 2Pac ha collaborato con artisti come Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg e Biggie Smalls, contribuendo a definire l'evoluzione del genere hip-hop negli anni '90.
