Sometimes my life, it seems so empty,
Day after day the same routine,
So many bills to pay scares me,
And I really need to get away
So I'm gonna put some music on the radio,
The music takes me where I wanna go,
Far away from the stress of strife,
Music just takes me away, so to you I say,
If you're ready to move, you got nothing to lose,
If you feel like groove,
So let the music play,
Come on everybody, can't you feel the groove?
Takin' over, takin' over,
Feel the music in your heart and let the music start,
Takin' over, takin'over
There comes a time in your life when you've
Got to let go (Got to let go, time to let go)
There comes a time in your life when you
Must say no! (Got to say no, got to let go),
Situations they just happen you don't need to follow,
Complications start to take your day
It's a shame, but it's a pill you don't just have to swallow,
And it's seen disproving logic everyday,
Just let the music take you higher and higher,
Free as a biird, I stand out from the crowd,
OHHHH!
Come on everybody, can't you feel the groove?
Takin' over, takin' over, (takin'over 2x)
Feel the music in your heart and let the music start
Takin' over, takin'over
You finally meet someone who makes you
Feel it so right, (makes you feel right 2x)
Someone you'll love with your heart and with all of your mind
But then you find that there's another person in the shadows,
And the one you've been in love just happened to,
He's got the right to hear and know his dream
Has just been shattered, (not sure, may be wrong)
And even though it's hard to know what you must do,
Just let the music take you higher and higher,
Free as a bird, I stand out from the crowd,
OH, OH, OHHHH!
Come on everybody, can't you feel the groove?
Takin' over, takin' over,
Feel the music in your heart and let the music start,
Takin' over, takin'over
Sometimes the road gets hard to bear, oooh Yeah!
But I, I'll keep spending, I'll keep passing,
I can't let nothing and nobody stand in my way,
So let the music play!
Come on everybody, can't you feel the groove?
Takin' over, takin' over,
Feel the music in your heart and let the music start,
Takin' over, takin'over
