Kool Moe Dee, pseudonimo di Mohandas Dewese, è un rapper e produttore discografico statunitense nato a New York nel 1964. È considerato uno dei pionieri del rap old school, noto per le sue rime intricate e il suo stile di flow aggressivo. Iniziò la sua carriera negli anni '80 con i Treacherous Three, gruppo che ha contribuito a definire l'estetica e lo stile del hip hop underground newyorkese. Dopo aver lasciato il gruppo, Kool Moe Dee ha avviato una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando album come "How Ya Like Me Now?" (1987) e "Wild Wild West" (1989). È famoso per i suoi singoli "Go See the Doctor", "The Bridge is Over" e "Wild Wild West". Oltre alla musica, Kool Moe Dee è anche un noto commentatore musicale e ha scritto un libro autobiografico intitolato "There's Gotta Be a Way".
