Atmosphere è un duo hip-hop formato da Ant e Slug, originari del Minnesota. Attivi dal 1991, sono considerati pionieri dell'hip-hop underground del Midwest per il loro stile unico che fonde rap e soul. Le loro produzioni spesso esplorano temi introspettivi come la vita quotidiana, l'alienazione e la ricerca di significato. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "God Loves Ugly", "Modern Man's Blues" e "Kanye West". L'album "Overcast!" del 2003 è considerato un punto di svolta nella loro carriera, consolidando il loro successo underground.
La radio è morta? No. Ma non è più il cancello d'ingresso. Negli ultimi anni qualcosa è cambiato ? radicalmente. Canzoni sconosciute esplodono in pochi giorni.
