Carl Terrell Mitchell, noto professionalmente come Twista, è un rapper statunitense nato a Chicago nel 1973. Iniziò la sua carriera musicale all'età di 14 anni, assumendo il nome d'arte Tung Twista. È famoso per la sua incredibile velocità di rap e le sue abilità vocali, che lo hanno reso uno dei rapper più influenti degli anni '90 e 2000. Il suo stile caratteristico, un mix di flow veloce e rime intricate, ha ispirato generazioni di artisti hip-hop. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo *Kamikaze* (1997), *Adrenaline Rush* (2000) e *The Day After Tomorrow* (2004).
