Mos Def, pseudonimo di Yasiin Bey, è un rapper, cantautore e attore statunitense nato a Brooklyn, New York. Cresciuto nel quartiere di Clinton Hill, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 come membro del gruppo hip hop Black Star, insieme al collega Talib Kweli.
