Comin' back live, this Keith Sweat
And as we windin' down from a long day
And hopefully to an even longer night
With the one you love and care about the most
Or the one you wanna get to know the most
Detroit 2, baby

I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the, put the, put the
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I know it's been a while, but I feel like perfect timin'
I just wanna put the time, yeah
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put th? time in
I just wanna grind, yeah
I just wanna spill ev?rything that's on your mind, and
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the tip in (Put the tip in)
Give your ass a tip, then
Give you a tip like knowledge? (Knowledge)
Tip like money? (Money, money) Or both?
Yeah
You been on the way for an hour
But you only stayed twenty-five away
I know we been friends for a while
Sometimes that gets in the way
Well, my grandparents was friends too
And they love was beautiful
But losin' a lover and a friend
Is like goin' through two funerals, uh
That's my worst habit
Playin' out things that's yet to happen
Sometimes my imagination moves faster than reality happens
It just so happens I already know your favorite shit
And I already got your favorite liq'
And I got the playlist, hits of the greatest
I feel your energy miles away
'Cause quality people deserve quality time
And I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in (Yeah)
I just wanna put the time in
I just wanna put the time in
See what's on your mind, and
Maybe I'll put the tip in (Yeah)
Maybe I'll put the tip in
Maybe I'll give you a tip then
Yeah, tip like knowledge and like money
I can't fuck with money-hungry hoes out here that's livin' so scummy
I just wanna put the time in, yeah
I just wanna put the time in
Maybe you could put your tongue in it
Maybe we could have some fun with it, haha
I just wanna put the time in
I wanna put the time in
I wanna put the time in, yeah
See what's on your mind and
