Tindersticks sono un gruppo rock proveniente da Nottingham, Inghilterra. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da arrangiamenti orchestrali, lounge jazz e soul; le orchestrationi del multi-musicista Dickon Hinchliffe (uscito dal gruppo nel 2006) e il baritono del cantante principale Stuart A. Staples sono i tratti distintivi della band. I Tindersticks arricchiscono la loro musica con strumenti come pianoforte Rhodes, glockenspiel, vibrafono, violino, tromba, trombone, clarinetto, fagotto, organo Hammond e molti altri.
