James Hillier Blunt, noto semplicemente come James Blunt (Tidworth, 22 febbraio 1974), è un cantautore britannico di grande successo internazionale. Nato in una famiglia militare, ha trascorso parte della sua infanzia in Germania e Canada prima di tornare nel Regno Unito per frequentare l'università. Dopo aver conseguito la laurea in Storia, Blunt si arruolò nell'esercito britannico come ufficiale del Royal Irish Regiment, prestando servizio in Kosovo e Cipro.
