As a kid i had jackshit back in the day
no ..... no bike no nikes no way
and i knew it meant target when they said target so i cut the tags off but at the end of the day
i guess you are what you eat your last and name your street
you can rememdy the melody but never change the beat
so i made that beat work and now they see i done did it but the truth is the only choice i had was run with it go!
you wanna come get it ill be waiting right here
rockin target and my aero sport like yeah
i finally made it to the top of the game
now i can make a brand hot just by droppin a name
its all good
and where ive been my shadow follow me
so i know where ive been from where ive got to go
so now i keep on thinkin that my fears will swallow me
cos its all good i know my way ill get back home
yeah look
ive tripped deep to the beat of the drum
asleep to where i crossed
til the weekend would come
play sneakers and run quick from the back of the bus
im in the back door cos i dont have a ticket as such
theyre kickin a fuss
fuck it mates pickin me up
.................. corridore
still vivid enough
to know exactly whre i came from livin it rough
the vision of ... when the system was off and i told em .....................
yeah i finally made it to the top of the game and i can feel it from the stage when theyre rockin my name
so i know where ive been from where ive got to go
so now i keep on thinkin that my fears will swallow me
cos its all good i know my way ill get back home
to be true theres been nights where i didnt believe
so i sat in my room praying lookin up from my knees
made a wish on a star hopin that my luck would change
and i dont know if god heard me but im up on a stage
and this is crazy
who would have thought id come this far from a couple of spliff spits in the back of that car
and with a couple of thousand kids that are packin the bar and are willin to pay for tickets with the cash on the card
so its crucail every time i put the paper to use
if you couldnt believe its simply a waste of my youth
im takin the truth with me to the top of the game
and if your feelin what im sayin then were one of the same
so i know where ive been from where ive got to go
so now i keep on thinkin that my fears will swallow me
cos its all good i know my way ill get back home

Here Now/Talk with Force" (1986). Alcuni dei brani più rappresentativi di Phrase includono "Talk With Force", "Here Now" e "Digital Dream".
