[Chorus]
Break your chains young man, and run away
Break your chains young man, and run away
[Verse 1]
Hey Nate, know you up there listening man
I hope your straight, cos I'm feeling kinda twisted man
The cards they dealt us last year bro they really sucked
How the fuck could one hand bring such bad luck
If this is karma, then I'm tryna think of things we did
To cost the life, the life of young Nathan Smith
Eye for an eye, it's a painful injustice
You never heard of fly
And in God you really trusted
So, I don't understand why he called your number out
I wish at least he would of let you see the summer out
You would of flipped
Me and chaddy rocked a show with snoop
Wished you were there, so we dedicated songs to you
It's not the same since you left things are different mate
Chaddys moved to Perth
And Danny's living in the states
We've separated, but we will never let the memories fade
The day you broke the chains and taught us how to run again
[Chorus]
Break your chains young man, and run away
Break your chains young man, and run away
[Verse 2]
It's funny how they say you take for granted what you got
Tills its gone, till your friend dies and you write a song
About their life and how unfair it is it finished unfulfilled
And then you realize if they could of had the chance to write a will
They would of wished for you to chase your dreams and really make a move
Instead of getting drunk and talking about the things we never do
I'm gunna prove this year, the life we lost was for the cause
The coffin shot but it seems to open up the doors
When opportunities arise now I snatch them up
I wasted 25 and finally feel like catching up
Its werid mate, its like the puzzles really matching up
And I don't feel that we could ever tell you thanks enough
So till we meet again, a message from the boys and me
We truly miss you mate and hope you found the place to be
To us you left the game and kinda took the sun away
And in return we learnt to break the chains and run away
[Chorus]
Break your chains young man, and run away
Break your chains young man, and run away
run away run away run away
Here Now/Talk with Force" (1986). Alcuni dei brani più rappresentativi di Phrase includono "Talk With Force", "Here Now" e "Digital Dream".
