Avenged Sevenfold è una band heavy metal americana formatasi nel 1999 a Huntington Beach, in California. Il gruppo, composto da M. Shadows (voce), Synyster Gates (chitarra), Zacky Vengeance (chitarra ritmica) e Johnny Christ (basso), ha raggiunto un'enorme popolarità negli anni 2000 grazie al suo sound aggressivo e melodico, influenzato dal thrash metal, dal heavy metal classico e dal punk rock.
