Editors sono un gruppo indie rock britannico formatosi a Birmingham nel 2002. In precedenza conosciuti come Pilot, The Pride e Snowfield, la band è composta da Tom Smith (voce principale, chitarra ritmica, pianoforte), Chris Urbanowicz (chitarra solista, sintetizzatore), Russell Leetch (basso, cori) ed Ed Lay (batteria, percussioni). Considerati uno dei pilastri del movimento indie britannico degli anni 2000, gli Editors sono noti per il loro sound dark e melodico, influenzato da band come Joy Division e Interpol. I loro album di debutto, *The Back Room* (2005) e *An End Has a Start* (2007), hanno riscosso un grande successo critico e commerciale, consolidando la loro posizione nel panorama musicale britannico. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors", "Munich" e "Blood".
