The Streets sono il progetto musicale di Mike Skinner, rapper e produttore discografico britannico nato a Birmingham nel 1974. Attivo dal 2000 al 2011, ha rivoluzionato la scena hip-hop britannica con un sound crudo e realistico che rifletteva la vita quotidiana delle working class inglesi. Skinner si distingue per testi incisivi e poetici, spesso ispirati alle sue esperienze personali e alla realtà sociale del suo paese.
