Ministry è una band americana di industrial metal formatasi a Chicago nel 1981. Considerati pionieri del genere, hanno influenzato profondamente la scena musicale alternativa degli anni '90. Il loro sound caratteristico combina elementi di heavy metal, elettronica industriale e noise rock, creando un'atmosfera oscura e aggressiva. Il frontman Al Jourgensen è noto per le sue performance teatrali e le sue liriche spesso provocatorie che affrontano temi sociali e politici. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Jesus Built My Hotrod", "N.W.O.", "Stigmata" e "Just One Fix". Ministry ha pubblicato numerosi album di successo, tra cui "Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs" (1989), "The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste" (1996) e "Dark Side of the Spoon" (2001).
