Westlife è una boy band irlandese formatasi a Sligo nel 1998. Il gruppo, composto da Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan e Nicky Byrne, ha raggiunto un enorme successo in Europa e nel mondo con il loro pop melodico caratterizzato da arrangiamenti orchestrali e testi romantici. Il loro album di debutto omonimo (1999) è stato un successo immediato, seguito da altri successi come *Coast to Coast* (2000), *World of Our Own* (2001) e *Unbreakable - The Greatest Hits Vol. 1* (2002). Nel 2004 Brian McFadden ha lasciato il gruppo, ma i quattro membri rimasti hanno continuato a pubblicare album di successo come *Allow Us to Be Frank* (2004), *The Love Album* (2006) e *Face to Face* (2005).
